Jeder, der ein Smartphone besitzt, kann sofort Antworten zu dieser Art von Fragen finden durch die Nutzung der neuen "Gifteratgeber App". Die App ist für iPhones sowie für Android Handys erhältlich.
Die Gifteratgeber App für Smartphones enthält eine alphabetische Liste mit 190 Giftstoffen. Für jeden Stoff gibt es eine Anleitung zur Vorgehensweise, sollte ein Kind diesen eingenommen haben. Zusätzlich enthält die App auch eine Liste mit über 60 Giftpflanzen. Jede Pflanze wird mit einem deutlichen Foto abgebildet, sodass Benutzer sofort erkennen können, welche Pflanze ein Kind gegessen hat. Die App bietet Ratschläge zu Zecken, Schlangen, Quallen, Bienen oder Wespen und hat ein eigenes Kapitel mit Vorsorgetipps und anderen wichtigen Informationen.
